AIESEC is the world's largest youth-run organization, present in over 120 countries and territories. We provide young people with leadership development and cross-cultural internship and volunteer exchange experiences, focusing on activating their potential to make a positive impact on society.
You can apply to become a member during our recruitment periods, usually at the beginning of each semester. Visit our Join section, fill out the application form, and go through our selection process which includes an interview. We welcome university students and recent graduates who are passionate about creating positive change.
AIESEC offers three main exchange programs: Global Volunteer (short-term cross-cultural volunteer projects abroad), Global Talent (professional internships abroad lasting 3-12 months), and Global Teacher (teaching experiences abroad). Each program is designed to develop leadership skills and intercultural understanding.
There is a participation fee that covers your AIESEC membership, opportunity matching, preparation seminars, and support throughout your exchange. The fee varies by program. For Global Talent, the host company typically provides a salary that covers living expenses. For Global Volunteer and Teacher programs, accommodation is usually provided.
English is the primary language used in AIESEC globally, so a basic level of English is recommended. However, specific language requirements depend on the country and project you choose. Many projects offer language learning as part of the experience!
AIESEC in Azerbaijan has local committees at major universities including ADA University, Baku State University, and other partner institutions. Each local committee organizes its own activities and manages exchange programs independently while following AIESEC's global standards.
Yes! Many of our events like Youth Speak Forum, Global Village, and info sessions are open to the public. These are great opportunities to learn about AIESEC and meet our community before deciding to apply for membership or an exchange program.
